Scatter Plots
Configuring a Scatter plot

Click on the scatter plot button found on the Troubleshooter toolbar

A field selection dialog is displayed. Add fields to the x or Y-axis field selection, by selecting the field(s) to be added and clicking on the corresponding x or Y-axis add (>) button.

Remove fields from the x or Y-axis field selection, by selecting the field(s) to be removed and clicking on the corresponding x or Y-axis remove (<) button.

Add all fields to the x or Y-axis field selection by clicking on the corresponding add all (>>) button.

Remove all fields form the x or Y-axis field selection by clicking on the corresponding remove all (<<) button.

Click OK when the selection has been made.
A scatter plot will be returned for each combination of x and Y-axis input fields. Below is an example of a scatter plot.
Scatter plot options
Scrolling axes:

To scroll axis click on the scroll axis button or select scroll axis form the right click popup menu.

Click and drag with the left mouse button on the axis to scroll.

Zooming axes:
-

To scroll axes click on the zoom axes button or select zoom axes form the right click popup menu.

Click and drag with the left mouse button on the axes to zoom.

Zoom in all axes:
-

Click on the zoom in all axes button to zoom in on all axes.

Zoom out all axes:
-

Click on the zoom out all axes button zoom in on all axes.

Zoom box:
-
-
Click on the zoom in box button.
-
Click and drag a window over the area to zoom into.

Zoom to fit:
-
-
Click on the zoom to fit button to zoom to fit all axes.

Add a region:
-
-
Click on add a region button and then click on the scatter plot area to begin a polygon selection. (This can be done repeatedly)

Remove a region:

Click on the remove a region button and then click on the scatter plot area to begin a polygon selection. (This can be done repeatedly)

Remove all regions:

Clears the entire region brush.

Scroll to ruler position:
-

Scroll the view to center on the ruler location.
